If you recently applied to become a FDNY Fire Cadet and you have completed your testing and assessment, remember you’re currently at Step 4. Now it’s time for you to prepare for the background investigation by gathering all of your important documents including your high school diploma, proof of identity and/or citizenship and more. Keep up the great work and remember to continue to check off each step as you advance in the hiring process. In addition, be sure to check your e-mails regularly for the latest information and updates.
