WEMSA equips participants with the hands-on training needed to earn their New York State EMT Basic Certification. Don’t miss this chance to take the first step toward a fast-paced and fulfilling future in EMS. Those who complete the program and earn their certification can work in the field right away. Or, if you’re looking to join the FDNY, instructors support graduates in preparing for and passing the Emergency Medical Specialist Civil Service Exam, which is required to be hired as an FDNY EMT.
