Choosing to become a Firefighter is a life-changing decision. It requires a 100 percent commitment to meeting our requirements for physical fitness, academic excellence, teamwork, integrity, and discipline. You will work hard and be challenged every step of the way, but if you’re serious about joining FDNY it will all be worth it.
