Meet EMT Anthony Nsowa, a Queens Village native who joined our Department in 2018.
“Joining the FDNY has given me the chance to work in a field that I love and turn it into a career that provides job security, health benefits, and opportunities that promote growth within the Department and growth to my repertoire of pre-hospital care,” said Nsowa, who works at Station 50 in Queens. “For anyone interested in joining the FDNY, this is one of the best careers you could have. You will be trained by the best instructors in the city, and work with fellow New Yorkers who love the job just as much as you do and they will push you every day to perform at your highest level.”
Like EMT Nsowa, you can also give back to the community in an extraordinary way by working in FDNY EMS. Apply today to become an EMT or EMS Trainee by clicking here.
