June 2, 2025This past Saturday, FDNY Explorers came to the Rock and were put to the test by the best! They participated in a series of skills challenges that included victim searches, forcible entry and ladder drills. They also learned more about hose line operations.
Juliana Lopez has been an Explorer for the past three years. She enjoys spending time with her fellow Explorers, visiting firehouses and training at the EMS and Fire Academies. “It’s a really good experience because you get to learn something new every time. We want to work for the FDNY, it’s our goal in life.”
