FDNY Commissioner Daniel Nigro, Chief of Department Thomas Richardson and Chief of EMS Lillian Bonsignore congratulated 59 FDNY Youth members for becoming New York State certified Emergency Medical Technicians today during the 2021 FDNY Youth Winter and Summer EMS Academy Completion Ceremony at Fort Totten. To date, 378 youth alumni have become state certified EMTs and 105 of them are serving as first responders in our Department.
