“I was interested in becoming a first responder for some time. My parents had a lot of medical issues when I was growing up and first responders would always show up to help them. My uncle is also a police officer, so I grew up around people who taught me the importance of helping others and I’ve found my niche with this career,” said Station 7 Paramedic Jeffrey Stenborg. “Working here at Station 7 is awesome. It’s located in the middle of the city, so it’s very high profile and busy. I’ve helped people from across the country, and people from other countries visit us and ask us about our career all the time. We interact heavily with the public and do our very best to help the city every day.”
